This is the search plan applied automatically. Resume analysis and AI matching run in your browser. The resume text is never sent to the job index.
Private profile. Live job search.
The website reads PDF, DOCX or TXT files on your device, uses an on-device AI model and keyword evidence to match roles and listings, and searches a free public job index for your selected location and work arrangement. The first search downloads the model to your browser; after that, the browser may use its cached copy. Resume text is not sent to the AI model host. Use the employer’s own page to confirm and apply.
Your resume stays on your device.
Career Compass does not upload, save, or send your resume text. Resume parsing, scanned-PDF OCR, role analysis and on-device AI semantic matching run in your browser. On first AI search, the browser downloads the Transformers.js code from jsDelivr and the model files from Hugging Face; for scanned PDFs it may also download Tesseract.js and its English OCR model. Only code/model files are requested, not your resume or job text. The browser may cache those model files for later searches. When you click Search, generated role titles, selected country and work arrangement go to the free PeopleSeek jobs API; city is also sent for city-based searches, while Remote uses country eligibility. PDF, DOCX and OCR readers load from public code libraries without resume data.
Clicking a recruiter lookup sends the job title, company and location in a Google search. Listings come from an external index. A source status and verification timestamp are not a promise that an employer still accepts applications. The job source does not include verified HR emails or LinkedIn identities; recruiter search links are leads to check, not confirmed contacts. Review the employer’s official careers page before applying. There is no auto-apply or automatic messaging.
